...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN VERNON PARISH IN

WEST CENTRAL LOUISIANA AND NORTHEASTERN NEWTON COUNTIES THROUGH 500

PM CDT...



At 424 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over

Burkeville, moving east at 15 mph.



HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around 

         unsecured objects. Minor damage to vegetation and outdoor 

         objects is possible.



Locations impacted include...

Burkeville, Burr Ferry, Mayflower, Stringtown, Wiergate, and Evans.
