The severe thunderstorm which prompted the warning has moved out of 

the warned area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.



A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 700 PM CDT for southeastern

and east central Nebraska.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 400 PM CDT

FOR NORTHWESTERN CASS COUNTY...



At 329 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 3 miles south of

Ashland, or 12 miles southwest of Gretna, moving northeast at 40 mph.



HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.



SOURCE...Emergency management reported golf ball size hail in 

         Greenwood.



IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail 

         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind 

         damage to roofs, siding, and trees.



Locations impacted include...

Greenwood, Mahoney State Park, and Camp Carol Joy Holling.



This includes Interstate 80 in Nebraska between mile markers 415 and

426.

 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 700 PM CDT for southeastern

and east central Nebraska.



This storm is producing large hail. SEEK SHELTER NOW inside a sturdy

structure and stay away from windows.
