FOR SOUTHEASTERN ASHLAND...NORTHWESTERN PRICE AND SOUTHEASTERN SAWYER

COUNTIES...



At 658 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line

extending from 10 miles south of Clam Lake to 7 miles west of

Phillips, moving northeast at 50 mph.



HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.



Locations impacted include...

Park Falls, Phillips, Fifield, Butternut, Connors Lake, Loretta,

Butternut Lake, Blaisdell Lake, and Wilson Lake Near Phillips.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly

from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado, go at once into the

basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.



Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to

flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
