* At 841 AM CDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line

  extending from near Galveston A156 to near Brazos A4 to 6 nm east

  of Brazos 490, moving north at 25 knots.



  HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 

           suddenly higher waves.
