A circulation embedded within the line resulted in a tornado developing around 7:58 PM on the northwest side of Stanberry. This tornado continued east-northeast through the north side of Stanberry, strengthening to a high end EF 1 tornado, as it crossed US 136, damaging several homes before continuing northeast. The tornado ended shortly after moving across the intersection of US 136 and State Highway F.
