Marine National Monument east of French Frigate Shoals



Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average height

of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be more than

twice the significant wave height.

.Synopsis for the Hawaiian offshore waters...

A trough NW of the offshore waters and high pressure to the N 

will persist through the weekend and bring isolated to scattered 

thunderstorms. The trough becomes a weak low NW of the islands by

Monday with decreasing wind speed trends. Easterly trade winds

return from Thursday onward.
