A weak surface trough will move through the region today, accompanied only by a wind shift to the northwest. High pressure builds in tonight into Wednesday. RHs will drop into the 20-30 percent range again today and Wednesday with temperatures trending much warmer inland from Lake Michigan. Anyone planning burns near Lake Michigan or the Bay the next couple days should expect lake breezes to develop in the late morning and afternoon. Lake breezes will bring cooler temperatures, onshore winds (E-SE), higher RH and poor smoke dispersal to lakeshore areas. Thursday will be the windiest day of the week, with south winds forecast to gust 20 to 30 mph. The next round of widespread rain and thunderstorms comes Thursday night into Friday. .REST OF TODAY...
