A frontal zone will be approaching the western Clay County in the region of the spot forecast Monday evening, and surface gradient will be weakening along with decreasing mixing. Initially winds may still be gusty (around 20 mph) at 6PM with RH near 30 percent, however both RH will be rising and winds decreasing quickly between 6pm and 8pm. The main result of the frontal zone passage will winds shifting from the southwest to the north and RH increasing well above 70% by late evening. We will be monitoring near critical fire weather conditions on Tuesday afternoon over parts of the region, though winds may not as strong in the area of the spot forecast. .6 PM MONDAY...
