Wind direction will become squirrelly around 9-10 PM as the Gulf and Atlantic sea breeze collide near the fire area. Given the weak transport winds, dense smoke is likely in the vicinity and areas north of the fire perimeter. Ahead of slow moving cold front, currently forecast to reach the fire Saturday evening, winds will shift surface and smoke transport winds will shift southwesterly Friday with gusts up to 15 mph after 1800 with the gulf sea breeze.
