The fog should dissipate shortly after sunrise each morning. Surface ridging from the east will continue into Friday while ridging aloft shifts east. There is a chance of storms this afternoon in the southwest but a greater chance over the whole area is expected Friday afternoon and Friday night. The chance for rain will continue Saturday and through much of next week as a rather disturbed weather pattern sets up over the region. Several inches of rain will be possible across the northern half of the area through the middle of next week.
