A cold front will move eastward today. Out ahead of the front will be a surface trough where winds go from the south to southwest and dew points and RH values lower. Southwest winds 20-35 mph and RH values 20 to 25 percent are expected this afternoon for about a 3-5 hour period in much of eastern North Dakota into parts of northwest and west central Minnesota. Exception is Baudette to Wadena corridor where RH values will remain higher as the drier airmass will not arrive til after dark. Cooler Friday through the weekend. Next chance of rain occurs Sunday late into Monday and this one looks to bring a widespread rain, with over one half inch of rain forecast south of a Baudette to Grand Forecast Cooperstown line.
