A low pressure system north of the region will bring weak southeasterly winds to the islands through Wednesday. This will allow for some localized land and sea breezes, resulting in some clearing at night, and afternoon clouds and showers. The ridge builds back in north of the state by Thursday, allowing moderate easterly trade winds to return. An upper level ridge over the islands at that time will limit rainfall potential. By the weekend, upstream moisture will be riding in on the trades, and could bring a return to more typical trade wind showers by the end of the upcoming weekend.
