This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the South Plains, Rolling 

Plains, and the far Southern Texas Panhandle.



.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.



Critical fire weather conditions are expected this afternoon and

evening on the Caprock for very dry and breezy west winds. A Red 

Flag Warning remains in effect from noon until 8 PM CDT.



.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.



A Fire Weather Watch is in effect for all areas Sunday afternoon and

evening. Elevated fire weather conditions will develop Monday.



Sustained westerly winds near 30 mph will lead to blowing dust and 

periods of reduced visibility Sunday, mainly on the Caprock. 



There is a chance of thunderstorms Thursday and Friday.
