This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north and central Georgia.



.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight...



A Fire Danger Statement is in effect this afternoon and evening 

for portions of central Georgia, roughly along and south of a line

from LaGrange to Macon to Tignall. Very dry vegetation and low 

relative humidity will support high fire danger conditions. 

Residents are encouraged to reference their local sheriff or fire 

departments for information on burn restrictions or burn bans.





.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday...



Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are expected Saturday through

Thursday. The potential for widespread severe weather is low at 

this time, but isolated storms may produce gusty winds, small 

hail, frequent lightning, and heavy rain.
